We at Coforge are hiring an experienced Onsite Delivery Manager to serve as the primary delivery and client relationship owner at a leading Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences client location.

This strategic leadership role is responsible for ensuring the successful execution of IT, digital transformation, data, and technology programs while aligning delivery outcomes with the client's business objectives, regulatory requirements, and operational priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery & Program Management

• Own end-to-end delivery of one or more pharma IT programs (Application development, QA, Automations, Data & analytics, Digital, Cloud, Support etc.).
• Ensure delivery commitments (scope, quality, cost, timelines, SLAs) are met across onsite–offshore delivery model.
• Drive program planning, execution, risk management, dependency tracking, and change control.
• Manage delivery metrics, KPIs, SLAs, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders including IT leaders, business owners, and program sponsors.
• Build and sustain strong executive and operational relationships within client organization.
• Lead governance forums: weekly status meetings, monthly reviews, QBRs, and steering committees.
• Proactively identify risks, issues, and improvement opportunities; communicate transparently with clients.

Pharma / Life Sciences Domain Alignment

• Strong understanding of pharma regulatory and compliance standards (e.g., GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, CSV).
• Be able to support programs across areas such as:
• R&D / Clinical / Imaging.
• Pharmacovigilance & Safety.
• Regulatory Affairs.
• Manufacturing & Supply Chain.
• Commercial, Sales, CRM, Veeva, Patient Services.
• Revenue Management / Market Access.
• Collaborate with client SMEs to translate business requirements into actionable delivery plans.

People & Team Management

• Manage onsite team members and act as delivery leader for offshore teams.
• Drive team engagement, performance, skill development, and adherence to delivery standards.
• Coordinate with offshore delivery managers for resource planning, ramp-ups, and knowledge transfer.

Financial & Commercial Ownership

• Own delivery financials including revenue, margins, billing, and cost optimization.
• Manage change requests, scope extensions, and effort estimation in collaboration with sales and delivery teams.
• Support renewals, upsell, and cross-sell through delivery-led growth opportunities.

Collaboration with Sales & Leadership

• Partner with Sales/ Client Partner on account planning and customer satisfaction initiatives.
• Contribute to proposals, SOWs, solution shaping, and client presentations.
• Support audits, compliance reviews, and vendor performance assessments.

Qualification

• 15+ years of overall IT experience with 8–10+ years in delivery management roles.
• Strong experience delivering projects or managed services for pharmaceutical / life sciences clients.
• Hands-on experience managing offshore delivery from India.

Good to Have

• Good understanding of pharma business processes and regulatory environment.
• Familiarity with GxP, CSV, data integrity, and audit readiness.
• Exposure to platforms such as Veeva, Salesforce, SAP, Model N, or similar is a plus.
