JOB TITLE: Senior Data Product Owner
SALARY: £78,098 - £91,880
LOCATION(S): Chester or Manchester
HOURS: Full-time
WORKING PATTERN : Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites. Colleagues with disabilities can be supported with workplace adjustments including hybrid working expectations in line with our Flexibility Works policy.
We're looking for a Senior Data Product Owner to lead the design and delivery of high-impact data products across our Loans & Affordability Platform. This is a critical role at the heart of our data transformation, where you'll shape how data is used to support lending decisions, regulatory outcomes and enable us to deliver more meaningful customer interactions.
You'll play a key leadership role in delivering major transformation initiatives, including modernising the Loans platform, transitioning away from legacy data infrastructure, and building a scalable, product-led approach to data.
Working closely with engineering, architecture and business teams, you'll ensure data products are reliable, valuable and built for the future - turning complex data needs into clear, high-value products.
You'll define and evolve the product vision and roadmap, balancing strategic goals with day-to-day delivery, and making sure we're always focused on what delivers the greatest impact. Leading cross-functional teams, you'll create clarity and momentum, helping teams work effectively in an agile way to deliver iteratively and at pace.
Along the way, you'll champion strong data governance, improve data quality and consistency, and ensure solutions are scalable, efficient and aligned to our long-term transformation ambitions.
