Accountant

As the company continues to grow, they are looking to add an experienced Accountant to their finance team.

Position Summary

The Accountant will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounting operations while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial records. This individual will work closely with the Controller and assist with month-end close, account reconciliations, financial reporting, forecasting, and general accounting operation functions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries
• Perform monthly bank and general ledger account reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate financial reporting
• Analyze financial data and investigate account variances
• Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable as needed
• Prepare sales and use tax filings
• Assist with fixed asset accounting and depreciation schedules
• Help prepare financial statements and supporting schedules
• Assist with annual audit requests and documentation
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency
• Perform other accounting and finance duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Minimum 3 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles
• Experience with ERP/accounting software
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments
• This position offers a salary range of $105,000 to $115,000 base dependent on experience.
