Key Responsibilities

• General Ledger & Month-End Closing
• Prepare and post journal entries, including accrual, prepaid, revenue, and expense allocation
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and sub-ledgers
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
• Revenue Accounting
• Record and reconcile revenue transactions in accordance with company policies
• Support invoicing processes and ensure proper revenue recognition
• Partner with sales teams to validate revenuedata
• Assist with deferred revenue analysis, contract review, and revenue-related reconciliations as needed
• Financial Reporting
• Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, etc.)
• Support management reporting and variance analysis
• Prepare schedules and supporting documents for internal and external audits
• Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requests from management
• Taxation & Compliance
• Support the preparation and review of tax-related journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
• Assist with federal, state, local, and indirect tax compliance as applicable, including sales tax, income tax, and franchisetax
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Process Improvement & Controls
• Help improve accounting processes and internal controls
• Support system implementations or enhancements (e.g., ERP, expense tool)
• Maintain documentation of accounting policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relatedfield3–5 years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP principles
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Financial
• Force)
• Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment
• Exposure to multi-entity or international operations
