Atrium is currently working with a client in North GA that is looking to hire a CPA who has been leading a corporate accounting function for a large organization. This position will report into the Corporate Controller and leverage their skills to lead technology, process, and workflow implementation/optimization within the organization.
The responsibilities will ultimately be to build out a team that owns this function for the business on a go-forward basis.
Lead the GL design and global process standardization within SAPAssist in the oversight of GL, AP, AR, and fixed asset accounting modulesLead cross-functional steering committees including internal stakeholders and external implementation partners and service providers, validating solution design and resolving integration blockers.
Global Accounting Operations & Controllership: Oversight of month-end close, accounting operations, reconciliations, journal entries, variance analysis, and financial reporting (GAAP, IFRS, SOX)SOX Compliance: Help design SOPs ensuring GAAP and SOX complianceDigital Transformation & Process Optimization related to SAP and other technologies including AI
