We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our corporate accounting team in our downtown Denver office.

Position Overview

The Staff Accountant will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of multiple restaurant properties. This role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-unit environment.

This is an in-office role, working Monday through Friday at our downtown Denver corporate office.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of financial statements and reports for multiple restaurant locations
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Review and verify invoices, expense reports, and financial data for accuracy
• Work within QuickBooks to maintain accurate financial records
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper coding and financial tracking
• Assist with audits and provide documentation as needed
• Identify discrepancies and recommend process improvements

Qualifications

• Required: Experience with or strong familiarity with QuickBooks
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred but not required
• 1–3+ years of accounting experience (hospitality experience is a plus, but not required)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across different properties
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general accounting systems
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Must be reliable and comfortable working in an in-person, collaborative office environment
