Shift : Day Shift (7:30am to 3:30pm) 40hours in week

MAJOR WORKER CHARACTERISTICS

Knowledge of accounting; relevant state and federal fiscal laws; ERP systems (e.g., OAKS FIN); purchasing; and budgeting. Skilled in calculators, computers, mobile devices, and software such as spreadsheets, databases, word processing, multi purpose work centers, and OAKS BI reporting.

Ability to analyze problems and data, prepare and edit financial reports, manage detailed information, handle multiple variables, work collaboratively, and respond to confidential or sensitive inquiries.

MINIMUM CLASS QUALIFICATIONS FOR EMPLOYMENT

Completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, accounting, finance or related field; 6 mos. exp. or 6 mos. trg. in accounting &/or finance to include an intermediate level of experience in spreadsheet software.

JOB DUTIES

• Complete accurate and compliant closeout of federally/locally/state funded transportation projects, including vouchers and cost settlements with LPAs and third parties.
• Utilizes multiple financial and project management systems to execute closeout tasks and support broader office functions.
• Demonstrates proficiency in Excel for financial analysis, data validation, reconciliation, and report development

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine accounting functions and financial reporting

Review and process financial data for accuracy and compliance

Assist with reconciliations and audits

Maintain organized financial records and documentation

Support departmental financial operations as needed

Required Skills

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Attention to detail and accuracy

Basic accounting principles knowledge

Ability to work onsite in a structured environment.
