Job Overview

• Staff AccountantCompensation: $75,000 – $80,000/yearLocation: Chester County, PASchedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office)Atlantic Group is hiring a Staff Accountant in Chester County, PA for our client, supporting core accounting and month-end close activities. In this in-office role, you will assist with general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and financial reporting support while partnering with senior accounting team members to ensure accurate, timely financial information and compliance with U.S. GAAP.Responsibilities as the Staff Accountant:

General Ledger Accounting: Assist with journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance to support accurate financial reporting. Month-End Close Support: Support monthly and quarterly close activities, including balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.

Financial Reporting Assistance: Prepare supporting schedules and assist with internal financial reports in accordance with U.S. GAAP. Audit & Documentation Support: Assist with audit requests, documentation preparation, and coordination with external auditors as needed.

Process & Controls Support: Follow established accounting procedures and internal controls, contributing to accurate and consistent financial processes. Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, with public accounting or corporate accounting exposure.

Technical Skills

• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP with experience using NetSuite or similar ERP systems preferred.
• Industry Knowledge: Inventory accounting exposure strongly preferred.
• Skills & Attributes: Detail-oriented, organized professional with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, in-office environment.
