R2R Accountant

Barden are seeking a R2R Accountant to join a high-performing finance team, supporting multiple business units across the EMEA and APAC regions for a well-known multinational business.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to international accounting, financial reporting, tax, treasury activities, and process improvement initiatives within a dynamic, fast-paced organisation.

The Role

As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality accounting and financial reporting activities, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, local accounting standards, and internal controls.

Key responsibilities include

• Preparing and posting journal entries, accruals, and accounting adjustments
• Completing balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis
• Managing intercompany accounting activities
• Maintaining accurate fixed asset accounting records
• Supporting month-end and quarter-end close processes
• Assisting with financial reporting and consolidation activities
• Preparing income tax accruals in line with US GAAP (ASC 740)
• Supporting treasury-related activities including bank reconciliations and payment processing
• Ensuring compliance with SOX requirements and accounting policies
• Partnering with finance colleagues across international business units
• Supporting continuous improvement, standardisation, and process optimisation initiatives
• Responding to internal and external audit queries and stakeholder requests in a timely manner

About You

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline2+ years' experience in accounting, finance, or Record-to-Report (RTR) functions
• Professional qualification (or studying towards) ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent is highly desirable
• Experience working within a multinational or shared services environment is advantageous
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls
• Experience with ERP systems, ideally SAPProficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborative team player with a continuous improvement mindset
