Social Media Manager

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Social Media Manager to join the Group Social team at McCann.

Our Social Media Managers are true social innovators, always ahead of the curve and digital natives who thrive online. They don’t just use social media – they love and breathe it, constantly tracking latest emerging trends both on social platforms and beyond. As a Social Media Manager, you’ll be working closely with account management and creative teams on projects.

You’ll drive always-on social media clients and specific campaigns, owning the process from the initial brief all the way through to delivery and final reporting. You’ll oversee the dispatch of social content and creative assets, ensuring media agencies, clients, and stakeholders are always in the loop.

Above all, our Social Media Managers act as trusted advisors, both internally and externally, always pushing for the best possible work and inspiring those around them. What will you bring?

• You’ll need to have a passion for the power of social to reach and engage humans beyond a like.
• You’ll be all over TikTok trends and know the best way to drive views on short form vertical video.
• You will have had a solid experience in planning and buying media on Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager and TikTok Ads Manager understanding the importance of social ad buy placements alongside clever social creative.
• At least 2+ years of experience in a social/digital environment
• Exceptional understanding of social media as a marketing discipline of both advertising and PRProven success managing social channels and creating social content
• Ability to work well under pressure and to a quick turnaround
• Competence in paid social planning and social business manager platforms
• Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva and CapCut is a bonus!
