Media Manager

Lead media, culture and growth for iconic Lion brands, shaping media, social and influencer activity across a dynamic portfolio.

At Lion, we're building brands that people love. As consumer behaviours continue to evolve, we're looking for a Media Manager to help shape how our brands show up across media, culture and digital channels.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead media planning and execution across a portfolio of iconic brands while staying connected to channel evolution, emerging trends, creator platforms, social behaviours and new ways of reaching consumers.

Working closely with Brand teams, agency partners and key stakeholders, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our media investment delivers impact while helping our brands reach audiences, earn attention and remain relevant in a rapidly changing landscape.

You’ll also act as a key operational partner to the Digital & Media Director, helping lift media, social and communications capability across the Marketing team.

What You'll Be Doing

Lead annual media planning and channel strategy across a portfolio of brands.

Partner with Brand Managers to develop effective campaigns and communications plans.

Manage media agency and platform relationships to maximise performance.

Oversee media investment, effectiveness, delivery to improve brand and commercial outcomes.

Understand culture, audiences and trends bringing insights into brand planning.

Drive social and influencer thinking as part of broader communications strategies.

Lead and develop a team of two Digital Experience Managers.

Champion innovation, experimentation and continuous improvement across media and communications.

What We're Looking For

• Significant experience within a media agency or similar environment.
• Strong understanding of media planning, channel strategy and media effectiveness.
• Experience managing agency partnerships and complex stakeholder relationships.
• Deep understanding of social media, creator ecosystems and evolving consumer behaviours.
• Commercial mindset with experience managing sizeable media investments.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational excellence.
• Leadership experience and a collaborative approach to working across teams.
