For the Visual Storytelling Illustrator role, you’ll get a chance to see how AI tools fit into the creative process, but most of your work will actually be on the human side — things like layout design, polishing visuals, refining flow across panels, and enhancing storytelling impact.

We’re on the lookout for an intern who’s passionate about visual storytelling — someone who gets excited about the way stories unfold through pacing, panel flow, and scene transitions, and is curious about how technology can enhance the creative process.

Job Description

We’re seeking a Visual Storytelling Illustrator to support our graphic novel production pipeline. This role is focused on page layout, panel composition, and storyboarding, ensuring that each story reads clearly, emotionally, and cinematically in graphic novel form.

You’ll work closely with editors, writers, and illustrators to translate scripts into strong visual sequences—and engage thoughtfully with our AI-assisted workflows as part of the process

What You'll Do

• Create page layouts, panel structures, and visual storyboards for graphic novel adaptations
• Translate scripts and story beats into clear, engaging visual sequences
• Contribute to pacing, rhythm, framing, and visual flow
• Collaborate with editors and illustrators to refine storytelling clarity and continuity
• Support character blocking, scene composition, and consistency across pages
• Use our platform to iterate on AI-generated layouts and storyboards, applying human judgment and craft
• Adapt layouts across different visual styles (manga, noir, minimalist, cinematic, etc.)
