Assistant Operations Manager - Home Delivery

The Assistant Manager will manage the daily operations and staff as well as multiple teams of dedicated carrier delivery drivers. The Assistant Manager will ensure the location is performing efficiently and meeting customer expectations and metrics. Final mile logistics and experience with contract carriers preferred but not required for a candidate with strong skills.

Job Duties + Responsibilities

• Manage daily responsibilities of In Home Delivery contract carrier teams
• Recruit and maintain a roster of high performing independent contract carrier delivery teams.
• Completing weekly billing
• Daily and weekly collection of operational data and performance report assessments.
• Manage all delivery metrics within the building
• Daily communication with teams
• Daily supervision of load out to ensure product quality assurance is being conducted
• Local ride behind routes to ensure satisfaction of customers by carrier teams
• Ensuring daily truck inspections + safety measures are met
• Build relationships and establish effective communication with customers, clients and staff to ensure continued and expanding operating improvements

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
