Velociti Services is seeking a high-performing District Manager to oversee janitorial and floor care operations across multiple client sites. This role is responsible for ensuring consistent service delivery, strong financial performance, workforce leadership, client satisfaction, and growth of service offerings across a defined district.
The District Manager will play a key leadership role in driving operational excellence, labor efficiency, cost control, and revenue growth through expanded service offerings.
Responsibilities
- Oversee multi-site janitorial and floor care operations, ensuring consistent service delivery, quality standards, and safety compliance across all assigned locations
- Lead, coach, and develop site supervisors and frontline teams to drive performance, accountability, and retention
- Execute and maintain floor care programs including stripping, waxing, buffing, scrubbing, and carpet care across facilities
- Manage district-wide labor planning, scheduling, and workforce deployment to meet service requirements and productivity targets
- Develop and manage labor and supply budgets, including forecasting staffing needs, monitoring overtime, and controlling supply usage across all sites
- Track and analyze operational performance metrics, including labor efficiency, cost variance, and service quality indicators
- Review monthly financial performance (P&L) for assigned accounts and address variances in labor and supply spend
- Identify and drive upselling opportunities across the district, including expanded cleaning scopes, floor care enhancements, specialty services, and additional service lines
- Partner with operations, HR, and finance teams to support staffing, recruiting, onboarding, and cost optimization initiatives
- Maintain strong client relationships, serve as escalation point for service issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Conduct regular site inspections and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance with company standards and client expectations
- Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations, safety protocols, and company policies across all job sites
- Required Experience &
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in janitorial services, facilities management, or building services
- Strong hands-on experience in floor care operations (stripping, waxing, burnishing, carpet care, and specialty surfaces)
- Proven experience managing multi-site or district-level operations
- Strong background in labor management, budgeting, and forecasting
- Experience managing large hourly workforce teams in high-turnover environments
- Ability to interpret P&L statements and manage operational financial performance
- Willingness to travel regularly between assigned sites
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
