Project Accountant / Development Accountant

This Manhattan-based residential owner/developer has a growing portfolio of multi-family, mixed-income properties throughout the boroughs.

They are currently looking for a Project Accountant to join their New York office and help with the financial management and oversight of multiple ground-up residential developments and renovation/repositioning projects in the $50-100M range and in different stages of design, development and construction.

In order to be successful in this role, they are asking for around 3-8 years' experience. And, whilst experience working for a developer would be beneficial, they are equally interested in candidates who have worked as a Project Accountant for a construction management firm. A degree in Accounting or Finance is strongly preferred - and excellent coordination, time management and interpersonal skills are required.

Experience in Yardi is required.
