Senior Accountant

About The Role

As the Senior Accountant at Nature’s Bakery, you’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with US GAAP, and supporting month-end close and internal control processes. You bring strong technical accounting expertise, excellent analytical skills, and experience with ERP systems and other accounting software tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, monthly close processes, settling monthly intercompany receivables & payables.
• Record acquisitions, transfers, disposals, and depreciation of fixed assets
• Perform complex and bank and account reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, internal controls, and accounting policies
• Oversee Concur review and approvals, monthly billing & accruals
• Maintain and enhance accounting systems, processes, and documentation
• Support internal and external audits: ensure ongoing compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Ensure compliance with policies related to ethics, confidentiality, and safety
• Perform additional accounting tasks and special projects as needed
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial reporting.
• Identify process improvement opportunities within accounting workflows and systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field5 – 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP Hands-on experience with S4Hana, Concur & One
• Stream preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excel (formulas, Pivot tables, Power
• Queries), Word & PowerPointPower BI preferred Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset Ability to interface with different levels of the workforce
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Word & PowerPoint is required
