Administrative Accountant

MEMCO is hiring an Accounting Admin in Atlanta, GA!

Pay: $22-$26/hr. BOE

Part-time; Monday-Friday 7am-12pm

MEMCO is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting & Administrative Coordinator to support the day-to-day back-office operations of a growing scaffolding/construction company. This role is responsible for managing invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and general administrative functions.

The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, is comfortable working independently in a remote setting, and brings 4–5 years of accounting or administrative experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage invoicing and billing for projects and clients
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
• Assist with and process weekly payroll
• Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks
• Perform general administrative and back-office support tasks
• Track expenses, reconcile accounts, and ensure timely payments
• Communicate with internal teams and leadership regarding financial updates
• Support reporting and documentation for leadership decisions

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative support
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Construction industry experience preferred, but not required
• Background check required

Work Environment & Expectations

• This is a primarily remote role; candidates must reside in the state of Georgia.
• Must be available to meet once per week in person (informal setting such as a coffee shop or similar)
• Standard business hours with flexibility based on workload
