Position Overview

Under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer and/or Director of Finance, the Staff Accountant is responsible for the effective functioning of accounting systems, including accounts payable, payroll systems, purchasing, cash management, general ledger, financial planning, financial reporting, financial analysis, and State/Federal regulatory reporting.THIS POSITION OFFERS A 40-HOUR WORKWEEK, NO WEEKENDS, FULL BENEFITS PACKAGE, 12 PAID HOLIDAYS, BI-WEEKLY PAY.Essential Tasks Be an active part in creating strategies to improve financial performance.

Collaborate with all other departments to gather relevant financial information.

Review real time operational data, in-depth financial metrics, and create key performance indicators geared toward analyzing both long and short-term financial health with data collected from all other departments.

Stays up-to-date on current and ongoing factors that greatly affects revenue which includes but is not limited to:

Seek to revitalize reports that are currently utilized by improving efficiency, usability, and user interface.

Experience And EducationBachelor's degree in accounting or related field of study.

Four years of related experience in an accounting environment, including payroll. A combination of education and/or relevant experience is acceptable. Intermediate level with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. ScheduleMonday to Friday8am-5pm8 hour shiftDay shift

Physical Requirements

• Constant standing and walking, occasional bending, stooping, lifting, reaching forward and overhead.
• May occasionally be required to lift patients, office equipment and paper, usually not exceeding fifty pounds of direct lift.

Overview

The starting pay for this position is $31.50 hourly. Please keep in mind that actual salary will vary based on various factors such as qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
