FUNCTIONAL PURPOSE:Leads the project management lifecycle for complex strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects including developing integrated project plans, monitoring progress, coordinating deliverables, and facilitating information sharing.
Oversees the successful implementation of integrated project plans by developing processes to ensure project timelines are met, resources are effectively utilized, risks are identified and mitigated against, and senior leadership groups are informed.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develops integrated project plans for complex and cross-functional initiatives including determining and documenting workstreams, resource requirements, involved stakeholders, projected timelines, and expected deliverables.
- Proposes project plans to stakeholders and coordinates a formal framework of collaboration and information sharing between cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership groups.

- Leads the implementation of project plans including coordinating between multiple stakeholder groups, cross-functional teams, and business operation workstreams to meet established timelines and deadlines.
- Assigns specific tasks, required deliverables, and accountabilities to involved stakeholders and teams based on areas of expertise, functional responsibility, and organizational authority.

- Tracks and monitors current project plan status and associated milestones.
- Requests regular status updates from involved project members and maintains project documentation regarding the status of all assigned tasks and deliverables.
- Coordinates with project members to determine root cause of missed deadlines of assigned deliverables, project delays, and miscommunications.

- Collaborates with and provides direction and guidance to senior leadership on leveraging project management techniques, tools, and best practices to successfully implement key organizational strategies.
- Provides insight on how to successfully implement project plans, advises on potential roadblocks and risks, and provides recommendations on aligning project goals with intended organizational outcomes and strategic initiatives.

- Facilitates meetings between senior executive leadership and project stakeholders to provide regular status updates and facilitate effective communication.
- Establishes cadence of status updates, methods of information sharing, and expectations of communication.
- Serves as the primary point-of-contact concerning for cross-functional leaders, stakeholders, and project members to ensure consistent information sharing and project messaging.

- Creates integrated project reports and presents status updates, summaries, and other presentations designed to keep leadership and project stakeholders informed and aware of achieved milestones, experienced challenges, escalated issues, and required decision points.
- Solicits feedback and specific direction, incorporates into project plans, and disseminates important information and updates amongst involved project members.

- Conducts ongoing risk identification and analysis of projects, prioritizes potential risks, assesses potential project impacts including timelines, necessary deliverables, required resources, and success of implementation.
- Develops strategies and plans to mitigate risks and stay within project delivery timelines and resource constraints.
- Ensures cross-functional partners and project members address and resolve issues creating unnecessary risks and establish contingency plans.

- Ability to delegate and assign project-related deliverables, tasks, and responsibilities to project members including establishing associated deadlines and monitoring the status of assigned work.
- Ability to proactively anticipate and mitigate against risks, challenges, and barriers to successfully meeting project deadlines, objectives, and deliverables.
- Ability to coordinate work efforts, facilitate information sharing, provide guidance and advice, troubleshoot barriers to progress between multiple project teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ability to establish collaborative partnerships, build organizational buy-in, and foster relationships with key stakeholders and cross- functional leadership.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with senior leadership and stakeholders to present project plan proposals, provide project status updates, answer questions, solicit feedback and input, provide guidance and advice, facilitate cross-functional meetings, and mediate between groups with competing priorities.
- Knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, strategies, tools, and best practices sufficient to manage complex projects in support of senior executive strategic initiatives and organizational change processes.
- Knowledge of the full project management lifecycle process including conceptual initiation, planning, execution, progress monitoring and control, and closure sufficient to plan and implement each stage of an integrated project plan.
- Ability to develop and lead the implementation of integrated project plans for multiple projects including developing timelines, determining resource requirements, coordinating with involved stakeholders, documenting progress, and facilitating information sharing efforts.
