Role Description

The Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Brampton, ON. This role is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities with prospective learners, partner institutions, and referral networks. Day-to-day tasks include managing and nurturing client relationships, conducting market outreach, and presenting Vision Consultancy’s services to prospective learners and partners.

The Business Development Manager will collaborate with the advisory and admissions teams to improve service offerings, support enrollment targets, and maintain accurate records of leads and conversions. The role also involves monitoring market trends, participating in events and community outreach, and preparing reports and forecasts to support strategic planning.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition within education, consultancy, or a related service sector.
• Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to maintain long-term partnerships.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex admissions processes in clear, accessible language.
• Proven organizational and time management abilities, including managing multiple leads and follow-ups in a structured manner.
• Comfort with CRM tools and basic office software for tracking leads, preparing reports, and maintaining documentation.
• Knowledge of Canadian higher education and public college admissions processes is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in Brampton, ON, and engage in occasional local travel for events, meetings, or outreach activities.
• Post-secondary education in business, marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
