Chief Operating Officer/ GM - Education Group

One of Singapore's most established education groups is seeking a commercially minded operations leader to oversee a sizeable centre network for one of their brands. With over 20 years in the market, a strong quality reputation, and a loyal workforce, this is a stable platform with real operational scale.

Given the group's focus on building leadership bench strength, there are multiple openings spanning General Manager, and COO. Depending on the level, you would lead the local Singapore business of a brand, or undertake a broader accountability including regional expansion.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to senior leadership, you carry full P&L accountability across the network - revenue, margin, and cost discipline.
• You lead a large distributed workforce, work closely with centre leaders and centralised marketing function, and drive performance across enrolment, service standards, and operational execution.
• Strategic work includes market expansion and service innovation.
• You will join a highly collaborative leadership team that is committed to raising standards and building the business for its next chapter.

Requirements

• At least 15 years of leadership experience running multi-site, consumer-facing operations with ideally genuine P&L ownership.
• You are entrepreneurial, empathetic, and analytically sharp, comfortable writing business papers and presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Sector background is open - retail, F&B, healthcare, private education, dental, eldercare, wellness, and beyond.
• What matters is commercial instinct, operational credibility, and the ability to lead smart, professional teams while balancing growth with quality.
