The Role

JumpTech is seeking a Chief Operating Officer, based in Singapore, to run the operating engine of the group alongside the founder — and to grow, over the coming years and on merit, into its most senior operating leadership.

This is a build-and-earn role, not a ceremonial one. You will own how the group actually runs day to day: the operating cadence across our businesses, the integration of what we acquire, the systems and KPIs that make performance predictable, and the discipline that lets each founder keep building while the whole becomes worth more than the parts.

The founder remains focused on capital allocation, acquisitions and external relationships; your job is to make the machine repeatable — and, in time, to be capable of leading the group.

Asia-Pacific is not a market we are entering; it is our DNA. The leader who runs alongside the founder must know this region the same way — India, China, Japan, Australia and New Zealand, and ASEAN — from having operated and built businesses within it, not overseen it from a distance.

The MandateYou have run the operations of a software or technology business at real scale — as Chief Operating Officer, divisional President or General Manager — owning delivery, P&L and the operating cadence, not revenue alone. Operating complexity and trajectory matter more to us than a single headline revenue figure.

You have built and operated on the ground across Asia-Pacific — India, China, Japan, ANZ and ASEAN — with genuine fluency in their commercial and cultural distinctions.

You have integrated or scaled multiple business units or acquisitions, and you know how to standardise the back office while leaving what makes each business special intact.

You have the temperament of a true second-in-command: secure enough to multiply founders, steady under pressure, and content to build patiently within a long-term partnership.

You carry the standing to represent the group credibly to investors, regulators, governments and the founders who join us — and the ceiling and ambition to grow into the group's most senior operating role over the coming years.

What this role is — and is notIt is the operating core of a company built to last, and a genuine, earned path for the right person to lead it. It is not a pure commercial or sales-leadership seat, a figurehead deputy, or a fast route to a title.

Experience & skills we look for15+ years in enterprise software or technology, including senior operating roles with full P&L ownership.A record of developing and executing multi-year operating plans, and of improving systems, processes and KPIs across complex, distributed teams.

Strong financial fluency — P&L, budgeting, cost and capital discipline across multiple business units.

Evidence-based decision-making and the analytical depth to diagnose issues across a portfolio.

Demonstrated success leading change and organisational scaling across APAC cultures and time zones.

Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent an advantage.
