• We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist
• Cabin Connectivity to join our client in Dubai, UAE. Mission:

We are looking for a Cabin Connectivity Technician to support commercial aircraft cabin connectivity systems by providing technical assistance, troubleshooting support, and engineering recommendations to airline customers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing connectivity issues, supporting fault investigations, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring high service availability across customer fleets. This is a customer support role focused on technical analysis and troubleshooting rather than performing aircraft maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for commercial aircraft Cabin Connectivity systems.
• Analyse and troubleshoot cabin connectivity issues reported by airline customers.
• Determine whether reported issues originate from onboard aircraft systems or external service providers.
• Provide first-level troubleshooting recommendations to airline engineering and maintenance teams.
• Analyse technical logs, diagnostic reports and system data to support fault investigations.
• Coordinate with customers, equipment manufacturers and internal technical teams to resolve technical issues.
• Monitor fleet connectivity performance and identify recurring technical issues.
• Support continuous improvement by documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
• Prepare technical reports and communicate investigation results to stakeholders.
• Assist customers as a technical advisor without performing maintenance activities on the aircraft.

Required Experience

3 to 10 years of experience supporting commercial aircraft Cabin Connectivity systems.

Previous experience within an airline, MRO, aircraft manufacturer or cabin connectivity supplier.

Practical experience supporting passenger connectivity systems on commercial aircraft.

Experience with aircraft is considered an advantage.

Experience with In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) systems is considered a plus but is not mandatory.

Technical Skills

• The ideal candidate should have practical experience with several of the following:
• Passenger Wi-Fi Systems, Cabin Connectivity Systems, Cabin Network Architecture, Wireless Access Points (WAP), Connectivity Servers, Satellite Communication Systems, Live TV Distribution, Connectivity Ground Testing, Connectivity Fault Isolation, Diagnostic Log Analysis, Software Loading and Configuration, Connectivity-related LRUsExperience with one or more of the following technologies is highly desirable:
• Panasonic Avionics, Thales, Viasat, Starlink Aviation, Other commercial aircraft cabin connectivity platforms

• Good understanding of aircraft Cabin Connectivity architecture.
• Ability to analyse technical faults and recommend corrective actions.
• Experience using diagnostic tools and interpreting system logs.
• Knowledge of connectivity-related LRUs and cabin network components.
• Familiarity with software loading and system recovery procedures.
• Understanding of passenger Wi-Fi, Live TV and satellite communication systems.
• Ability to distinguish between onboard and offboard connectivity issues.
