Global Ceramic Photographer & Content Collaborator

KAIYAO Collective Ltd is looking for a freelance Ceramic Photographer & Videographer to support the visual development of contemporary Chinese ceramics.KAIYAO is a London-based platform working with Jingdezhen ceramic artists and presenting hand-painted Chinese ceramic works to international collectors, designers and culturally engaged audiences.

This is a project-based, cross-border creative role. The selected photographer may be based in London or work internationally, but must be able to support or coordinate photography projects in Jingdezhen, China.

The work may include:

• Ceramic artwork and product photography
• Glaze, texture, signature and detail photography
• Artist portraits and studio documentation
• Short-form video of painting, glazing and making processes
• Content for our website, Instagram, exhibitions and campaigns
• Professional editing, retouching and colour correction
• Developing a refined visual language suitable for art, design and luxury audiencesWe are looking for someone with:
• A strong portfolio in product, still-life, ceramics, jewellery, art or luxury photography
• Experience with both photography and short-form video
• Excellent understanding of lighting, composition, texture and colour accuracy
• The ability to handle fragile artworks carefully
• Professional camera and lighting equipment
• A refined, detail-oriented visual approach
• Availability for freelance or project-based collaborationExperience with ceramics, galleries, museums, craft, interiors or cultural brands is highly valued.
