Cybersecurity Project Manager

The Cybersecurity Project Manager role offers the opportunity to lead cybersecurity projects and transformation initiatives within a technology services environment. This agency contract role is ideal for a project management professional with experience delivering security, compliance, and infrastructure related initiatives across regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end to end delivery of cybersecurity projects and transformation initiatives
• Manage project plans, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and reporting
• Coordinate with Security, IT, Risk, Compliance, vendors, and business stakeholders
• Perform regulatory and security fit gap assessments and track remediation activities
• Drive initiatives related to privileged access management, security controls, and compliance improvements
• Support network segmentation and security architecture enhancement programmes
• Facilitate governance forums, project reviews, and stakeholder updates
• Monitor project milestones, vendor performance, and resource utilisation to ensure successful delivery

Requirements

• Degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field
• At least 7 years of experience in Project or Programme Management for technology or cybersecurity initiatives
• Hands on experience delivering projects within banking, financial services, or regulated environments
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, governance, risk, and budget management skills
• Experience conducting regulatory, compliance, and security gap assessments
• Good understanding of IAM, PAM, SOC, Cloud Security, Vulnerability Management, and Network Security
• Exposure to cybersecurity platforms such as CyberArk, SailPoint, and Splunk
