About the Opportunity
The Company is establishing a dedicated investment platform focused on AI-native technology companies serving the global real estate industry. The platform will deploy capital across early- and growth-stage businesses applying artificial intelligence to property capital markets, development and construction, asset operations, sales and leasing, branded residences, hospitality and ESG.
We are seeking a Senior Investment Manager to lead origination, execution and portfolio management across Asian markets. The role offers the rare opportunity to help shape a regional investment programme from inception, with the backing of a global real estate group as anchor sponsor and operating partner.
Key Responsibilities
Investment origination and execution
- Build and maintain a high-quality, proprietary deal pipeline across Global and Asian markets, leveraging personal networks, ecosystem partners and the Company's operating relationships.
- Develop sub-sector theses and target maps across PropTech, ConstructionTech, FinTech-for-Real-Estate, hospitality technology and AI infrastructure.
- Lead end-to-end transaction execution, including investment thesis development, commercial and technical diligence, financial modelling, valuation, term sheet negotiation, legal documentation and closing.
- Structure transactions across equity, structured equity and venture debt, in lead and co-lead capacities.
- Author Investment Committee papers to institutional standard and present recommendations to the IC.
Strategy, ecosystem and brand
- Develop and refine the Asia investment thesis, including market sizing, competitive mapping and capital allocation guidance.
- Build durable relationships with co-investors, accelerators, corporate venture arms, family offices, sovereign wealth funds and government innovation bodies across the region.
- Represent the fund externally at industry forums and within the Asian PropTech and AI ecosystems.
LP and stakeholder engagement
- Contribute to LP reporting, capital calls, AGMs and ad-hoc investor communications.
- Support fundraising activities, including pipeline showcases and reference calls.
- Coordinate with the Company parent organisation on strategic alignment, pilot opportunities and reporting.
Required Experience and Qualifications
Mandatory
- Minimum 10 years' experience in private equity, venture capital, growth equity or institutional asset management at a credible firm with a verifiable track record.
- Demonstrable record of leading technology investments globally, with deep coverage of Asian markets and an established regional network.
- Direct experience leading a fund, sleeve, region or thematic strategy (or co-leading a recognised investment programme), with accountability for capital deployment and portfolio outcomes.
- Proven deal sheet spanning origination, lead diligence, board work and at least one full investment cycle including realised exits.
- Strong, independently verifiable network across Asian technology founders, co-investors and limited partners.
Highly desirable
- Prior experience investing in PropTech, ConstructionTech, FinTech-for-Real-Estate or vertical SaaS.
- Experience working with corporate or strategic LPs in a hybrid financial / strategic vehicle.
- Operating, founding or senior commercial experience within a technology company.
- Working knowledge of Mandarin, Japanese or Korean.
- MBA or CFA from a leading institution; strong undergraduate degree from a recognised university.
Sector and Technical Knowledge
- Deep understanding of the AI and SaaS landscape, including AI-native architectures, data moats, agentic systems, go-to-market models, retention dynamics and unit economics.
- Working knowledge of real estate sector dynamics across capital markets, development, asset operations, branded residences and hospitality.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks affecting AI deployment, including the EU AI Act, UK and EU GDPR (including Article 22 on automated decisioning), and sector-specific regimes administered by MAS, HKMA, SFC, FSA, RBI and equivalent Asian regulators.
- Confidence interpreting technical diligence findings on data architecture, model risk, infrastructure dependencies and information security.

- Confident negotiator with credibility at founder, C-suite and LP levels.
