Job Title: Technical Project Manager

Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite)

Job Type: Contract

Lead end-to-end delivery of technology projects from initiation through implementation.

Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.

Coordinate cross-functional teams including Development, QA, Infrastructure, DevOps, Security, and Business stakeholders.

Manage project scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.

Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.

Track project milestones and provide regular status reports to senior leadership.

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Collaborate with architects and technical teams to ensure successful solution delivery.

Drive issue resolution, risk mitigation, and escalation management.

Support release planning, production deployments, and post-implementation reviews.

Ensure compliance with organizational governance, security, and regulatory requirements.

10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years as a Technical Project Manager.

Experience managing Application Development, Cloud, Infrastructure, or Digital Transformation projects.

Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.

Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps (ADO), MS Project, Confluence, or ServiceNow.

Strong understanding of SDLC, release management, and project governance.

Experience coordinating distributed teams and managing multiple concurrent projects.

Excellent communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.

Experience with risk management, budgeting, resource planning, and vendor management.

Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Capital Markets.

Familiarity with Azure, AWS, DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud migration projects.

PMP, Scrum Master (CSM/PSM), or SAFe certification preferred.

Experience managing regulatory, cybersecurity, or infrastructure modernization initiatives.
