accel bi corporation is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join our team for a large-scale public sector technology modernization initiative. This is a full-time W2 opportunity with accel bi corporation, offering a gross annual salary of $90,000–$95,000, inclusive of applicable benefits.

Location: Hybrid – Raleigh, NC

Candidates must currently reside in North Carolina

Urgent Requirement

Key Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-scale IT projects from initiation through implementation.
• Develop project roadmaps, business cases, and cost-benefit analyses.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, quality, and communications.
• Coordinate with executive leadership, business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors.
• Oversee vendor onboarding and governance processes.
• Present project status, risks, and milestones to senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with established project management standards and IT governance.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT Project Management experience.
• Proven success delivering large IT projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Experience creating project portfolios and strategic roadmaps.
• Strong experience with project risk, cost, schedule, quality, testing, and communications.
• Hands-on experience using Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office.
• Experience managing multiple large, complex IT projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience developing business cases and cost-benefit analyses.

Mandatory

• PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification – Required
• Agile/PMI-ACP Certification
• Experience managing statewide IT implementation projects
• Experience with State Government
• Experience with legacy system replacement and data migration
• Experience working in complex cross-functional environments

Must be able to work in a hybrid environment in Raleigh, NC
