About the Role

Our client is a well-established and prominent financial services brand operating within the Australian market. They are seeking an execution-focused Project Manager to take complete delivery ownership of a high-priority regulatory compliance and transformation program.

This hands-on role sits within the Transformation team, working closely with Product and internal Risk & Compliance functions to drive critical business readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Ownership: Drive the program lifecycle from initiation through to go-live against strict regulatory deadlines.
• Regulatory Mapping: Translate complex compliance rules and privacy regulations into clear, auditable requirements.
• Technical Integration: Lead the delivery of secure data-sharing capabilities, user permission workflows, and core platform integrations.
• Vendor & Risk Management: Manage external technology vendors, contractual oversight, and robust RAIDlogs.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate business readiness across Product, Tech, and Risk to ensure outcomes are completely audit-defensible.
• What We’re Looking For:
• Experience: 8–10+ years' delivery experience within regulated financial services (banking, wealth, or lending environments highly preferred).
• Compliance Track Record: Proven success managing and delivering compliance-driven or regulatory transformation programs end-to-end.
• Technical Literacy: Strong comfort working with data management, secure API delivery, identity/consent frameworks, and complex system integrations.
• Vendor Management: Demonstrated capability selecting and managing external technology partners and software service providers.

Qualifications

• Tertiary degree plus a recognized project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/SAFe).
