Job Opening: Escrow Accountant – Entry Level

Full Time Accounting Clerk

Responsibilities

Daily processing of Wire Transfers In/Wire Transfers Out, Wire Transfer Initiation, Stop Payments, Escrow Transfers, Fee Ledgers, ACH Tax payments, Cashier Check requests, Paid Check copy requests, Accounts Payable, Cash Receipts and Escrow Deposits.

We are looking for an individual flexible in nature to be willing to cover similar responsibilities within the department as required for vacation and during peak volumes.

Other possible responsibilities may include: Escrow Investments/Interest posting, Escrow Losses, MyDec transactions, and bank reconciliation.

Effective time management is required to meet daily bank cut-off times. Transaction volumes peak at the end of each month.

Qualifications

Associates/Bachelor Degree or equivalent accounting/banking related experience. Candidate should be detail minded, able to work under time restraints with a high level of accuracy, able to work well with others, proficient in Word and Excel, and have good organization and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
