Accounting Consultant - Non-Profit

A non-profit organization located near downtown LA is looking for an Accounting Consultant. The Accounting Consultant will work closely with the CFO and Controller managing the regulatory and annual audits, handling year-end close initiatives, handling grant / fund reporting, and financial statement preparation.

The Accounting Consultant will also analyze balance sheets, work closely with internal departments and auditors, as well as assist with ad hoc projects.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or related discipline is required.
• CPA is preferred.
• At least eight years of accounting and audit experience.
• Must have non-profit industry experience.
• Strong GAAP knowledge.
• Excellent systems and communication skills are required.
• Up to $70/hr.
