Operations Manager

Are you an experienced Operations Manager with Print Experience ready to take the lead in a fast-paced, international environment?

ProAmpac Donegal is looking for an Operations Manager to join our leadership team and drive operational performance across our Donegal Flex site.

This is a key leadership role, responsible for delivering high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective manufacturing operations while achieving production targets and driving continuous improvement. You will lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing team, ensuring operational excellence in line with business goals.

What you’ll be responsible for:

• Leading day-to-day manufacturing operations to deliver production targets, quality standards, and performance metrics
• Driving a strong Health, Safety & Environmental culture, ensuring compliance and promoting best practices across the site
• Optimising plant performance through effective resource planning and continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
• Setting and monitoring operational KPIs, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives
• Working cross-functionally to maximise production capability in line with demand and site targets
• Implementing robust processes for housekeeping, contamination control, and manufacturing excellence
• Identifying and delivering strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and meet budget expectations
• Leading, coaching, and developing teams to build capability and ensure long-term success
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and accredited body requirements

• What we’re looking for:
• Proven experience as an Operations Manager within a printing or manufacturing environment
• Strong leadership capability with experience managing large teams in a fast-paced setting
• Demonstrated track record in driving performance, productivity, and continuous improvement
• Solid understanding of Health & Safety standards and regulatory compliance
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar operational excellence frameworks
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• A hands-on, results-driven approach with the ability to influence at all levels
