Northrop Grumman is currently looking for an experienced M&S Software Process & Build Engineer level 5 to work with our Modeling and Simulation team (M&S). The successful candidate will work with the modeling and simulation team across projects to assure value added implementation of our CM process, and to achieve and maintain a standardized build system for the team.

The candidate will coordinate with other software teams for DevSecOps implementation and execution, and on CI/CD development and maintenance. This engineer will also be responsible for guiding the delivery process of all deliverables of the M&S team. The candidate will work with functional management to assist in optimizing and implementing AGILE processes.

The candidate will also work to train other team members to proficiency in relevant tasks. There will likely be some opportunity for technical work in software development, analysis, and systems engineering, but the above roles will be the candidate’s primary responsibility. Basic

Experience using git as a configuration management tool Proficiency in using CMake for building software products

Experience working on DoD contracts with CDRLs, including developing and maintaining technical documentation

Experience with AGILE SW process management or CMMI Knowledge and

experience in building and deploying containerized applications.

Experience with one or more of the following: Software development in C or C, Multithreaded applications, CAMEO or other SYSML tool, or Weapon system Modeling and Simulation Ability to obtain an interim US Government Secret security

clearance prior to start and ability to get cleared to SAP access level.

skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
