Senior Accountant - Contract to Hire

Tatum by Randstad is working with a client in the manufacturing industry that is located in Los Angeles and is looking to grow their accounting department. The company is looking to add a Senior Accountant on a contract to hire basis.

The company is on a hybrid schedule and the person taking on this Senior Accountant opportunity would be handling the following duties:ResponsibilitiesAssist with preparing monthly/quarterly balance sheet reconciliations and journal entry preparation.Assist with the month end close and monthly/quarterly account analysis.The Senior Accountant would also be handling inventory accounting and fixed asset duties.This candidate would be working closely with the accounting manager to streamline the month end close process.Assist with special projects and preparing supporting schedules for the external auditors for the annual audit.QualificationsBachelor's in Accounting or finance is required.CPA or MBA is desired.Prior experience in public accounting is desired.3-5+ years of month end close experience is required.Prior experience with inventory accounting or cost accounting is a plus.Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills are desired.Apply to this Contract to hire Senior Accountant Opportunity today!!#J-18808-Ljbffr
