Job Summary /

Description

The Junior Accountant supports daily accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and month‑end close activities. This role offers exposure to international finance operations and the full accounting cycle while ensuring compliance with internal controls and U.S. GAAP standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Support general ledger activities including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Assist with accounts payable and/or accounts receivable processes.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor open items.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close activities.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and internal documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and ethical accounting standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional and international finance teams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Up to 2 years of accounting experience (corporate or multinational preferred).
• Basic knowledge of U.S. GAAP principles.
• Understanding of internal controls and accounting processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP or other major ERP systems.
• Background in a multinational or shared services environment.

Italian language skills are a plus.
