Supervising Accountant - Immediately Hiring

Position Overview

The Supervising Accountant is responsible for overseeing accounting staff and applying accounting principles to analyze financial information and prepare accurate financial reports.

Essential Job Functions

• Supervise and support general ledger and accounts payable staff
• Oversee the monthly financial close process
• Prepare and review journal entries, worksheets, and reconciliations in accordance with GAAP
• Prepare comprehensive financial statements, including statements of partners’ capital and other assigned reports

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Accounting or related field required
• 3+ years of general ledger experience preferred; MBA/CPA a plus
• Prior casino or hospitality accounting experience preferred
• Advanced Excel skills with ability to build detailed spreadsheets
• Experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems preferred
