On behalf of a Fortune 500 medical devices company with an emerging footprint in Southeast Asia, we are searching for a Regional Product Manager to lead a genuine greenfield build.

Our client operates at significant scale globally, and in this region, it runs like an incubator: a lean setup tasked with growing a surgical portfolio from a low base into a real regional presence, market by market, starting in Singapore before expanding further. This is a rare opportunity for a product leader to run an incubator-style mandate inside an established global business.

This is a build mandate, not a maintenance role.

The successful candidate will own the full arc, from market assessment and collaboration with the global sourcing hub, through portfolio and go-to-market strategy, to hands-on downstream execution with distributors and sales teams. Equal comfort building a business case and standing in an operating theatre discussing workflows with a scrub nurse or surgeon is essential.

Core responsibilities

• Assess market opportunity and shape portfolio strategy across SEA, working closely with the global sourcing hub
• Build and execute go-to-market plans market-by-market, starting with Singapore
• Serve as the link between global product teams and in-market commercial execution
• Develop genuine fluency in the surgical environment, workflows, clinical needs, and what it takes to displace entrenched incumbents
• Train, enable and support field teams and distributors as the portfolio scales

Desired skills and competencies

• Over 10 years in product management, marketing, or commercial roles in medical devices.
• Real, hands-on understanding of the Operating Room and peri-operative environment. A surgical consumables background is strongly preferred.
• A track record of building (not just running) a market, portfolio, or function from limited infrastructure
• Strong stakeholder and distributor management skills across a multicultural, matrixed environment
• Willingness to travel frequently across the region
