Human Resources Manager

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead and support all HR functions within a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment in Kitchener - Waterloo region.

Pay - $100-$120K

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all day-to-day human resources activities for the manufacturing facility.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives for hourly and salaried employees.
• Provide guidance and support on employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary matters.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and health & safety regulations.
• Support performance management, succession planning, and employee development programs.
• Partner with department managers to address workforce planning and staffing requirements.
• Coordinate training programs and maintain employee training records.
• Manage compensation, benefits administration, and payroll-related HR activities.
• Monitor attendance, absenteeism, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Prepare HR reports, metrics, and recommendations for senior management.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workforce productivity and employee satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• CHRP, CHRL, or equivalent HR designation is considered an asset.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably within automotive or manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of employment standards, labor relations, and workplace legislation.
• Experience supporting unionized and/or non-unionized workforces.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
