Management Accountant

A unique opportunity to join an established manufacturing business at the forefront of their sector as number 2 to the CFO. You will work very closely with the CFO and the Senior Management Team to produce robust meaningful information to allow them to make calculated business decisions as they enter the next stage of growth. Duties will include:-

Responsibility of the Management Accountant Role:-

• Work closely with the CFO in this SME as number two in the finance function
• Oversee the accounts payable, receivable and payroll teams
• Support month end close, journals, reconciliations and management reporting
• Develop and improve systems and processes
• Develop meaningful analysis and data to support business performance
• Take full responsibility for monthly management accounts, tracking budgets and KPI's

Requirements of the Management Accountant Role:-

• ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified ideally from an SME
• Data analysis and financial modelling
• Creative problem solver, thinker
• Strong technical accounting background
• Advanced Excel skills, Power BI a huge plus
