Job Overview

First Milestone Technology Company is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will assist in managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and support the finance department in ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

This role is ideal for a recent graduate or an early-career accounting professional seeking to build a strong foundation in corporate finance.

Key Responsibilities* Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and accounting documentation.* Prepare journal entries and support the maintenance of the general ledger.* Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions.* Perform bank reconciliations and monitor daily cash transactions.* Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.* Support month-end and year-end closing activities.* Verify invoices, expense reports, and payment requests for accuracy.* Assist with internal and external audits by preparing required documentation.* Ensure compliance with company financial policies and applicable accounting standards.* Maintain organized filing systems for financial records and supporting documents.* Coordinate with internal departments regarding finance-related matters.* Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.

Qualifications* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.* 0–1 years of accounting or finance experience (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).* Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software or ERP systems is an advantage.* Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.* Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.* Good written and verbal communication skills.* Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.* Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
