Senior Project Manager

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Make sure projects are initiated, analyzed, planned, and implemented to meet defined business objectives.
• Lead and manage multiple projects at once, often with global, cross-functional teams across IT, Finance, Operations, Risk, and Compliance.
• Proactively gather and discern business requirements from every department, sharpening your industry knowledge along the way.
• Identify tactical versus strategic solutions, highlight the tradeoffs, and give stakeholders what they need to make informed decisions.
• Build comprehensive project plans and documentation, including goals, timelines, resource allocation, budgets, and risk mitigation.
• Direct cross-functional technical discussions on system upgrades, digital transformation, software implementation, and emerging fintech.
• Contribute to a centralized PMO by offering guidance, tools, and resources that standardize project management practices firm-wide.

WHAT YOU BRING

• A computer science degree or equivalent.5+ years of relevant project management experience in a global financial environment or a technology-driven industry.
• Experience in the financial industry, specifically with front office market activities.A software development background, through a CS degree or prior hands-on development roles.
• Experience working in a formalized Project Management Office and a passion for process improvement.
• The ability to scope, manage, and execute multiple projects at once, each on its own timeline.
• Comfort pivoting quickly and navigating ambiguous, high-pressure environments while staying focused and delivering.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Eligibility to work in the US for any employer.BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVEHands-on reporting and data analysis skills, with experience building progress reports, dashboards, and KPIs.
• Strong Excel skills, including data manipulation, pivot tables, and VLOOKUPs for project tracking.
