Get to Know the Role

As a Principal Product Manager, you will define the long-term vision and strategy for Grab’s merchant transaction platform. You’ll lead the evolution of mission-critical systems that power millions of orders daily, working at the intersection of distributed systems, financial integrity, and large-scale operational workflows.

This is a highly strategic platform role, requiring deep technical judgment, systems thinking, and the ability to influence engineering, business, and operational leaders across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Define Platform Strategy: Own the long-term product vision and roadmap for Grab’s merchant transaction platform, driving architectural investments that enable scale, reliability, and future business growth.
• Build High-Scale Platform Capabilities: Design and launch foundational platform services spanning order lifecycle management, merchant operations, dispute resolution, and transactional integrity.
• Solve Complex Platform Problems: Lead cross-functional initiatives to simplify complex multi-party workflows, ensuring accurate, reliable, and resilient transaction processing across the ecosystem.
• Drive Operational Excellence: Develop intelligent platform capabilities that reduce merchant downtime, improve operational governance, and recover merchant demand through smarter automation, permissions, auditing, and risk controls.
• Influence Across the Organization: Partner with engineering, operations, finance, legal, and commercial leaders to align technical investments with business priorities and drive execution across multiple teams.
