Position Overview

AstraMed is expanding its manufacturing and service capabilities. We are seeking a dedicated Operations Manager to oversee and unify our core value streams: Transducer Production and the Service Centre (Repair).

This role serves as a critical technical conduit between our HQ in China and the Singapore operations to drive operational resilience, optimize resource allocation, and foster continuous improvement across cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

The Operations Manager will provide hands-on leadership and technical direction across manufacturing and repair operations. The core responsibilities include:

• Operations Management and Leadership: Oversee the daily operations of the Ultrasound Medical Devices Assembly and Transducer Production line and the Service Centre. The manager will lead a team comprising production operators and repair technician, ensuring production discipline and process adherence. The role requires managing resource allocation to maximize output while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

• Production Line Setup and Commissioning: Close partnership with the key stakeholders in guiding the end-to-end setup of the Transducer Production line from the ground up to translate manufacturing blueprints into a fully operational production environment. The manager will be the co-owner of this setup project, driving progress, resolving on-the-ground challenges, and ensuring the line is commissioned on schedule and to specification.

• Technical Transfer and Process Standardization: Act as the primary technical bridge to HQ that involves training local staff, standardizing workflows, and establishing a robust framework for continuous operational excellence.

技术转移与流程标准化： 作为与总部的核心技术桥梁，负责培训本地员工、标准化工作流程，并建立稳健的框架以实现持续的卓越运营。

• Service and Quality Optimization: Focus on maximizing the recovery value of returned goods within the Service Centre. The manager will implement strategies to improve the full cycle of returned defective items that enhances the overall service efficiency. The role also involves close collaboration with the Quality Management team to ensure all production and repair activities meet stringent quality and regulatory standards.

• Cross-Functional Coordination: Align operational activities with supporting departments, including Logistics, Purchasing/Sourcing, and Quality Management. The manager will ensure seamless material flow, resolve technical anomalies in incoming materials, and coordinate logistics for both production inputs and service dispatches.

• Knowledge Security and Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to the company's Intellectual Property (IP) protection and knowledge security frameworks. The manager will ensure that sensitive technical documents and SOPs are managed securely and that all operational processes comply with internal confidentiality requirements and local regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements

资格与要求

• Education: A Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Electronics, Operations Management, or a related technical discipline.

教育背景： 拥有工程、电子、运营管理或相关技术领域的学士及以上学位。

• Experience: Proven experience in manufacturing operations, technical management, or process engineering. Experience in precision manufacturing, electronics, medical devices, or ultrasound equipment is highly advantageous.

工作经验： 具备制造运营、技术管理或工艺工程方面的成熟经验。在精密制造、电子、医疗器械或超声设备领域拥有经验者优先。

• Technical Skills: Strong background in developing and implementing SOPs, process optimization, and team training. Familiarity with quality management systems and lean manufacturing principles is preferred.

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to facilitate effective knowledge transfer and cross-functional collaboration. The ability to navigate cross-cultural business environments effectively is required.
