Business System Analyst

Akkodis is seeking a Business System Analyst for a 12 Month contract with a client in Burbank, CA.

Location: Burbank, CA (Hybrid)

Duration: 12 Months Contract + Possible Extension

Pay Range

$80-$84 per hour on a W2. The rate may be negotiable based on factors such as experience, education, geographic location, and other relevant considerations.

What We Do/Project

The main function of a business systems analyst is to perform the analysis, design, implementation, modification, and daily functional support of our LMSi application.

Job Responsibilities / Typical Day in the Role

• Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies.
• Gathers requirements from business units and translates those to programmers and developers.
• Prepares cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation.
• Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities.
• Supports one or more highly complex business processes.
• Works on multiple projects as a project team member.
• Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization to provide technical solutions to meet user needs.

Must Have Skills / Requirements

1. Strong experience requirements, elicitation, and documentation

a. 8+ years.

2. Experience having ownership of User Stories.

a. 10+ years; Previous Business Analyst Experience.

3. Ability to translate those functional requirements to technical teams

a. 10+ years

1. Licensing Management Platform experience.

Technology Requirements

1. Basic knowledge of programming languages in order to comprehend reading code and basic functions.

Education / Certifications

1. Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
