Business Analyst - Entry Level Opportunity - Philadelphia PA

Position: Business Analyst I

Location: Philadelphia, PA (Onsite 3x/week required)

Job Description

Looking for entry level / junior resource to join the team. Open to new college graduates or candidates with some experience under their belt (rate should be reflective of experience).

Some key targets will be team players who are collaborative, trainable, and have excellent communication skills. Looking for someone with heightened analytical skillset and general ability to write requirements. Some preferred (but not required) skills would be figma, UX design, SQL, visual studio, buiness analysis, or technical background.

Resource has a basic understanding of key concepts and features of the subject matter. Reference industry or organizational usage or application of the subject matter. Resource is aware of major initiatives, key issues and benefits of the subject matter and knows how and where to obtain additional information.

Works well under general supervision, as well as providing technical and analytical support to assigned position. This level should typically be used for a less experienced, junior level resource or someone new to the functional discipline.

Formulates and defines scope (requirements) and objective based on user needs and thorough understanding of business processes. Works with stakeholders on process improvement projects designed to improve results. Gathers and analyzes information and provides recommendations to address and resolve root causes. Evaluates/researches business problems and their relationship to technology.

Prepares and/or assists in the preparation of project or development proposals including problem definition, evaluation or alternatives, cost/benefit analysis, action plans and documentation (reports, models, etc.) Typically coordinates activities at a department level.
