Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the full-cycle accounting process, including month-end and year-end close procedures.
• Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, variance analysis, and budgets.
• Manage general ledger accounts and perform reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany accounts.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements, tax regulations, and reporting requirements.
• Lead the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
• Assist in the development of internal controls and financial policies to safeguard company assets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a strong plus.

Strong understanding of GAAP and general financial reporting standards.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
