Digital Project Manager - part-time role

Role Description

The Digital Project Manager is a part-time, on-site role based in the Greater Sydney Area (5 x half-days per week/20 hours, or equivalent) for parental leave cover of approximately 10 months. Overseeing the planning, coordination, and delivery of digital projects, ensuring they meet scope, timeline, budget, and quality expectations.

Day-to-day responsibilities include managing project workflows, facilitating communication between internal teams and clients, maintaining project documentation, and tracking progress against milestones. Our Digital Project Managers collaborate closely with strategy, design, development, and marketing specialists to align project outputs and user experience best practices.

The role also involves identifying risks, resolving issues, and continuously improving processes to support successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in Digital Project Management and Project Management, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Strong Communication abilities for collaborating with internal stakeholders, external partners, and clients, and for presenting project updates clearly.
• Experience with Digital Marketing and Content Management systems to align project deliverables with
• platform requirements.
• Proficiency with relevant project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Harvest) and basic understanding of web technologies, UX, and SEO concepts.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on quality and user experience.
• Previous experience in a digital agency or technology-driven environment is highly advantageous.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in project management, digital media, marketing, IT, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
