Accountant

We are looking for an Entry-Level Accountant to support the accounting operations of a growing organization in San Francisco, California. This opportunity is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career accounting professional who is eager to learn and build a strong foundation in accounting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
• Prepare journal entries and support general ledger maintenance.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations while researching discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end close activities and financial reporting.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Support fixed asset, prepaid expense, and accrual schedules as needed.
• Assist with audits by gathering requested documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Provide administrative and ad hoc support to the accounting team as needed
