Accounting Specialist

We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to support day-to-day financial operations for a Contract position based onsite in Phoenix, Arizona. This interim assignment will focus on maintaining accurate payables and receivables activity while helping the team stay current on billing and reconciliation work.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on accounting experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage transactional tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices, payment schedules, and related accounts payable transactions with accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage customer invoicing, cash application, and follow-up activities tied to accounts receivable balances.
• Perform regular account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and ensure financial records remain up to date.
• Support daily billing operations by preparing, reviewing, and validating transaction details before submission.
• Maintain organized accounting documentation and update financial data within the company’s Odoo system.
• Assist with general accounting tasks needed to support the team during this interim coverage period.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve payment issues, invoice questions, and account variances promptly.
