Regional BD Manager

Role Purpose

The Regional Business Development Manager is responsible for driving new business growth across the Asia Pacific region by acquiring enterprise clients for HRMS, Global Payroll, Payroll Outsourcing, and Employer of Record (EOR) solutions. The role focuses on developing new business opportunities, managing complex enterprise sales cycles, and building long-term relationships with senior HR and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and acquire new enterprise customers across assigned markets.
• Drive new business opportunities for HRMS, Global Payroll, Payroll Outsourcing, and Employer of Record (EOR) solutions.
• Develop and execute strategic account acquisition plans to achieve sales targets.
• Lead end-to-end enterprise sales cycles, including qualification, discovery, solution positioning, proposal development, commercial negotiations, and contract closure.
• Engage and influence senior decision-makers, including CHROs, HR Directors, CFOs, Procurement teams, and regional business leaders.
• Work closely with Solution Consulting, Product, Implementation, and Customer Success teams to develop compelling customer proposals and ensure successful deal execution.
• Lead and coordinate responses to RFPs/RFIs, collaborating with internal stakeholders across multiple functions.
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive hunting, networking, referrals, industry events, and strategic partnerships.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reporting using CRM tools.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging workforce management and HR technology developments to identify new business opportunities.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of enterprise B2B sales experience in HRMS, HCM, Payroll Software, Payroll Outsourcing, Employer of Record (EOR), or related HR technology and workforce solutions.
• Proven track record of hunting and winning new enterprise accounts, consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Experience managing complex regional or multi-country sales opportunities involving multiple stakeholders.
• Strong consultative selling, presentation, negotiation, and executive stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing enterprise RFPs, commercial negotiations, and contract closures.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with regional and global cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience selling SaaS-based HRMS, HCM, Global Payroll, Payroll Outsourcing, or Employer of Record (EOR) solutions.
• Established network of enterprise HR, Finance, and C-level decision-makers across the region.
• Familiarity with enterprise HCM platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors or Oracle HCM is an advantage.
